This bottom entry board ‘s many features make it a “must have” for the summer season and features:
• Spruce frame and landing strip which channels the rain to drip away from the hive;
• Screen is a durable galvanized 1/8″ mesh;
• Slider made of a non-rotting corrugated plastic sheet;
• The slider enables you to adjust the air flow through the hive during the summer season;
• The screen lets mites fall through onto the removable plastic tray below where you will be able to regularly monitor the level of infestation;
• This screen entry board comes with an entrance reducer which you can set as desired to 20 or 50mm wide entrance allowing your bees to control intruders more easily;
• Special entrance reducer holders prevent you from pushing the entrance reducer inside the hive by accident.
