Description
The top side of the feeder is made out of plywood and assembled with glue to increase the feeder durability in variable weather conditions.
It is equipped with an entry reducer retainer on one right side to prevent the entry reducer from being pushed inside the hive accidentally.
Note that the jar & lid assembly are not included with this item.
Benefits of the Boardman feeder:
- The Boardman bee feeder is external to the hive.
- There is no need to open the hive, increase the hive space, or consume space inside the hive to add or remove a feeder
- It can only be reached by the bees from inside the hive.
I recommend making 4 or 5 very small holes with a 1 mm diameter nail on the mason jar cover to allow bees to drink the sweet water.
