• It is made of a spruce frame with a 1.5” Styrofoam pad sandwiched between 2 plywood boards;
• It is clad with aluminum flashing, so no plywood is exposed to the rain and no rain can find its way into the hive;
• It is designed with a hole facing the inner cover opening, which ensures air flow in summer and easy bee traffic;
• It will help reduce the temperature variations in the hive, during both summer and winter;
