NUC Box features:
• Designed to handle 5 deep frames (9-1/8”);
• This box frame rest is designed so the frame’s top rail hangs approximately 5 mm (3/16″) below the top of the box;
• The box bottom board is made of 5/8″ plywood and provides a landing strip.
•The box is equipped with cleats at each end, providing you an easy and efficient grip;
• This sturdy box is designed, and carefully glued and stapled to outlive many years of Canadian weather;
This box is fit for multiple usage, particularly if you want to work with smaller space and lighter weight than that of a 10-frame hive.
They are widely used for raising NUCs or colonies, producing honey and transporting NUCs.
